Lil kesh:

He was just a street boy doing freestyles around the streets of Bariga, a suburb in Lagos before he got an encounter with Olamide through fellow label mate and friend Viktoh.

Olamide signed him on to his label YBNL and with the release of songs like “shoki”, “Ibile” Lil Kesh became a force to be reckoned with in the music industry, getting nominations in major awards and selling out concert.

His relationship with Olamide was so good that he calls him his elder brother and the success he made under Olamide under a year was good enough for him to float his own record company called YAGI.

Pepenazi:

Just like the biblical woman with the issue of blood who encountered Jesus Christ and her life turned around for good. Pepenazi, has been in the music industry for a long time until he teamed up with Olamide to release the track “illegal”. A track that has given him street credibility, acceptance and bragging right that allows him to stand up when singers are mentioned.

Adekunle Gold:

Of all the talents on this list it is Only Adekunle that has not benefitted from Olamide vocals or lyrical prowess as Olamide impact on his career has been purely financial.

Through his gift and by reason of studying Art and Design from the University of Lagos, Adekunle Gold got a chance to pitch his vocal talent to Olamide after he had designed YBNL logo and Olamide luckily recognize the gold in Adekunle through his alternative music.

Since being signed onto YBNL in 2015 and the release of his “orente”, single Adekunle’s life has not been the same.

When Tinny Entertainment signed budding rapper and released the track “jagaban” it arrived the streets of Nigerian music like every other regular song and was a minor hit across radio station until somebody somewhere was blessed with the idea of inviting Olamide to add his vocal power to the remix.

Once the YBNL boss jumped on the track with his signature vocals and street slang the song became a cult anthem among street boys and girls and till date the song remains the foundation of Ycee fledging career
